Martin Luther King Drive in Philadelphia.  Join us for the 3rd Annual “Walk for Water, Walk for Life” 5K Run/Walk-A-Thon! The event will be held on Saturday, March 24 from 9am to 12 pm along Martin Luther King Drive in Philadelphia.  The Walk was started by Keiyo Soy Ministries, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to raising funds to combat the urgent need for clean water, sanitation facilities, and hygiene education in the Kerio Valley in the Rift Valley Province of western Kenya. Now in its 3rd year, the event brings together individuals, high schools, universities, churches, and various other institutions from the greater Philadelphia region to walk for a worthy cause on World Water Day weekend.

All proceeds from the Walk go towards the Katumoi Water Project construction of pipelines to bring clean drinking water to children and families in the Kerio Valley.
